Lessons from my college ...

Every final year student right now:
“ Oh God, College is about to end, we won’t even get a proper farewell”

Bringing you the lessons which I learnt in my college (umm actually 2 yrs of college & 2 yrs of corona college, huh!)

#1

Not each and everyone who talks to you with a smile, who is polite with you, who considers you literally a bread and applies so much butter everyday, not even the one with whom you talk on a daily basis is your friend. More than half of the people are good to you, just because they know that they will need your help sometime or the other.

#2

Never ever bitch about the person whom you are genuinely friends with.! Even if you fight, sort it out together, there’s no need to find a third person and bitch about your friend because us friend ko Dil se bura lagta haii yaar.

#3

You can be betrayed any moment, any time, without any alarm, even from the one whom you think is your bestfriend so keep your eyes and ears always open and DO NOT EVER EXPECT ANYTHING FROM ANYONE (*cries in corner*)

#4

JUST LIVE your college life to the fullest, because this time will never come again. Be a good friend, make good memories, click pictures wherever you go and cherish them forever. Honestly, I have survived the last 2 years at home only because of the precious memories, daily dosage of memes and video calls with my squad.

#5

Mumma is always right about everything. Tell her about your friends and she'll tell you who is fake and who has a heart of gold. You might not believe her but you will surely realize one day that she was right all along.

#6

Your seniors are the best people to guide you and your juniors definitely have the best gossip. Your male friends are the best buddies and the female friends are the best shopaholics you’ll ever meet. If you’re away from your home due to college, you’ll miss your loved ones so badly and your roommate may be the best go to person in such a case.

#7

The person who sends you all the assignments, puts your proxy, pays for you and saves a seat for you are the real gems and they deserve a jaadoo ki jhappii from you. Keep them close.

#8

The person whom you date in college may or may not be your life partner. Don’t keep your hopes too high from the start. Just go with the flow and enjoy whatever comes along. Always remember that you might have a happily ever after with someone else.

#9

Love yourself. Never ever underestimate your worth. Try whatever you want, give your best because college time is the best time to come out of your comfort zone and figure out what you really want from life.

College years are literally the best, if you enjoy them to the fullest. It is time when you develop yourself and your skills. It is the time when you learn a lot from your experiences and you truly mature as an individual. Don't give up on your dreams and just let yourself grow and keep yourself open to all the opportunities.
